The Micro 9 felt better in my hand and I got a good deal on it (new old stock). Took it out to the range Monday and put 100 rounds through it with no issues. Today I took it out and after 40 rounds, the guide rod broke.New to this site but hope to get some insight on corrosion issue with my Micro 9mm Stainless. I purchased this a little over a year ago for conceal carry. Short time after firing maybe 50 rounds and cleaning afterwards I started to notice what appeared to be corrosion on left side of the slide, both inside and out.Kimber Micro 380 - small, solid pocket pistol, all metal construction, safety, D/A, good tang, always fires, fits my hand and eye. Nosediving. Have to drop the mag, clear the round, close the slide, insert the mag, and rerack to chamber correctly. One 2nd round chambered OK on its own.

Took my Micro 380 to the range yesterday, along with my Solo and Colt Mustang. Shot 50 rounds through the Micro using various ammo; Freedom Munitions, American Eagle, Winchester. The gun handled all well with no issues at all. BadaBing BadaBang !! I did however have some failure to feed issues with the Colt Mustang using the FM ammo.Found the same issue today. Got our Micro 380 and P238 at the same time. I ordered two extended mags and a three pack of springs from the Kimber store. One extended mag and the one that came with the gun ran fine, one did not. I thought it might be a bad mag, so I put it in the P238 and it ran fine.Completely cured a FTF issue on my Micro .380. This slide stop has a slightly different magazine catch tab than the original that came in my Kimber Micro .380. This one completely cured the original’s tendency to lock the slide with rounds still in the magazine. So within the line up the Micro .380 seems to be the most problematic. That being said if you look at other manufacturers line ups you'll find the trend continues.
