The Hall Center for the Humanities (HCH) is a designated research center at the University of Kansas with purpose-built facilities dedicated to the support of research in the humanities, arts, and social sciences, and the dissemination of that research to a broader public. A panel of humanities scholars will review applications based on the following criteria: 1. Quality of the conception of the applicant’s project 2. Project’s clear relation to the humanities 3. Project’s use of Hall Center and KU resources 4. Demonstrated commitment from applicant to see project through to completion 5. 2023-2024 Resident Fellows. The Hall Center hosts a group of resident faculty and graduate student fellows each academic year. During their residency, fellows give public talks about their works-in-progress.
