Jan 2, 2015 · Kuntry-Fried. I have a 2017 Silverado 1500, and my rear vision camera says the samething, with blue screen. Tried checking the fuses,and all seems to be good. Will be taking it in to the dealership on Monday. Bought it brand new about 5 or 6 months ago. This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread.

I just installed a trailer hitch on my 19 Equinox with the 2.0T engine. The screen flashes briefly with the "service Rear Vision System" message but then goes to the camera display without the lines. Is this due to the hitch being installed? There is a service bulletin for this. Believe it is a software update.

PITA job to get the trim off to get to it in that vehicle but my issue was that salt got into the camera through it's wires. GM stopped making it but got one off fleabay that was in new condition from a JY.
