Started/stopped/started multiple times & would not go off. The gas cap solution worked, thank you! I also had the same warning lights flashing/on simultaneously: cruise control, check engine, xmode, brake but car seemed to be fine. I wiped the gas cap seal and all around it and the gas cap area itself. Lights still on at first drive, but off on second drive and have stayed off for 24 hours so far.
